What Is A Clamp
Collar Kit?

A clamp collar kit allows quick and easy
coupling of any (2) RISTEC products or any RISTEC product to your robot or
tooling (See Animation Below).

If you are using an Adept or Nimbl robot,
the clamp collar kit is all you need to attach any RISTEC product to your
robot.

If you are using any other robot, the
clamp collar kit can be in conjunction with an adaptor plate made
specifically for your robot. These adaptors can be found by visiting
our robot mounting selection wizard.

To attach to your tooling, you can use
our standard clamp collar kit, MCC-071-001,
for non-removable tooling, or our tool rack ready kit, MCC-071-002,
for racking replaceable tooling. You may require the use of a blank
adaptor plate which can be easily be modified to mate with your
tooling.

RISTEC products can be easily joined together with the use of clamp collar kits.

The Kit Consists of:
- A pilot ring for centering
- A pin and a key for torsion (either can be used, but
not both simultaneously)
- Two clamp bands for rigid axial clamping
Once the pilot ring and pin or key is in place, the clamp
bands can be pulled together using (2) screws.
