RISTEC is the only manufacturer of end effector products (grippers excluded) in the United States to sell through distribution. Other competitors use direct salesmen or sales reps. This is the case with most robot manufacturers as well. We feel that stocking distribution is our best connection with our intended market.

We are intending to work with distributors who sell motion control devices, preferably robots. We are also looking for distributors with “value added” capabilities. The reason for this is simple; in a few short years, there won’t be any non-“value added “ distributors in business.

We have chosen our prospective distributors with care to make sure they have qualified outside sales and inside support personnel to handle all aspects of product sales and support. We also feel that we can dominate this market in a very short time with a highly trained, technically astute, dedicated, localized sales force.
