RISTEC Mounting Modules are designed to
directly mount to over 75% of robots currently sold in this country, which will
allow our distributors to participate in robotic projects on robots other than
what they sell. With Adept Direct Mount on all of our products, distributors
will be able to sell end effector tooling on the best selling robots in the US.
Needless to say, this is a lead into eventually selling your robotic products to
these customers. It’s easy to forget that RISTEC’s
products can also be used on fixed automation machines. There is a need for
manual or automatic tool changing on many work cells. The adaptor plate blanks
can be modified by the customer to make an easy connection to his machine. The in-house robot re-tooling projects
will also be a great way to get involved with end users. As their products
change, re-tooling may be required. RISTEC mounting modules work for just about
every shaft mount robot out there and our ISO flanges and Adept Direct Mount
will allow you to directly mount to the vast majority of currently installed
flange mount robots and positioning devices. As robotic control and integration
becomes more “user friendly”, which by the way we see ourselves as a great
contributor to this end, flexible automation will branch out into more types of
businesses. Many of these emerging markets are in industries that traditionally
have not used automation of any kind. These markets also include challenging
application environment issues that current products on the market don’t
address. This will be the biggest area of growth in the automation sector for
the near future. We intend to be an integral part of this trend.
