Our designs are modular in nature and directly connect to robots or to one another. This simplifies the integration of the end effector package by reducing the time and effort required for design and manufacture of a custom solution. Currently, integrators must create customized end effector packages made from multiple vendors’ products connected by made-to-order adapter plates that only add weight, cost, complexity, lead time not to mention the “hodgepodge” look of many of these hybrid designs.

Another benefit of our modular technology is that units can be separated at any interface for maintenance purposes. Competitive products are normally attached to one another in a sequential stack using screws that become buried by the next adaptor plate or tooling product attached. To access tooling closest to the robot the entire end effecter package must be completely disassembled. The RISTEC system allows easy access to any interface with a single Allen wrench.
