stack up to the
competition!
|
Built in Mounting
Flange:
-
The mounting flange on top and
bottom of RISTEC's tool changers allow the units to be directly coupled to
any other RISTEC product, any Adept robot, or any tooling previously
designed to mount to an Adept robot.

12 User Pneumatic Ports on Robot
and Tool Modules:

|
|
Extremely
High Strength to Weight Ratio:
-
Locking at the perimeter with
(16) balls increases the bending and moment carrying capacity of the units
-
Load distribution across
numerous balls gives our tool changer modules the highest strength to
weight ratio of any tool changer in the industry!
|
 |
Multiple
Fail Safe Features:
Several features ensure that the
robot and tool modules couple fully and stay coupled in the event of any failure modes of the robot control system.
-
Detented Locking Piston - Detent
on piston prevents tool changer uncoupling even if loss of air pressure
occurs.
-
Tool Presence Requirement -
Piston actuation is restricted if tool module is not present in a lock ready
position.
|
3.
Spring back up - Once locked, a
built-in spring keeps the piston in the lock position in the event of
pressure loss.
4. Optional Positive Lock
Verification Sensor - Unlike competitive models that only sense tool
presence,
RISTEC's inductive sensor senses the position of the locking piston,
ensuring that the unit locked. |
| |
Don't pay for what you don't need. Unlike our
competition, RISTEC's modular design allows you to pick only the options you
need. Utility sub-modules are easily
removed to install plumbing fittings, plumb air lines, crimp or solder
electrical contacts.
