FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RISTEC Tool Changer Chosen For Use at Adept Technologies 10th Annual North American Systems Integrator ConferenceJan 16, 1999 -- On Jan 14th and 15th, 1999, Adept Technologies, Inc. held the 10th Annual North American Systems Integrator Conference in Monterey, CA. Attendees had the opportunity to learn the latest about Adept products, obtain valuable market data and information on product safety and performance standards, and receive future product and emerging technology briefings that demonstrate how Adept's products and technology will continue to lead the flexible automation market. The demonstration included the utilization of a RISTEC Tool Change Module with external utilities on an Adept Cartesian Robot. The unit was chosen by Adept engineers for it's ease of integration and ability to channel all utility lines directly into and through the unit. The ability of the tool changer to directly mount to the Adept Cartesian Robot with only the use of a RISTEC Clamp Collar Kit (clamp ring, pin, and adeptall ring) allowed Adept engineers to save time and money (no adapter plates). RISTEC, Robotic Interface Systems Technologies, founded in 1997, is an American manufacturer of environment specific, modular, robotic end-effectors. For More Information Contact: |
